The Metro Mayors Caucus & City and County of Denver's Metro Mortgage Assistance Program is set to launch on the afternoon of August 9. The $32.5 million program will offer a 4% down payment assistance grant and 6.59% 30-year fixed rate mortgage (FHA, VA, RHS, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac eligible conventional) to first time homebuyers.

The 23 participating jurisdictions are: Arvada, Aurora, Bennett, Brighton, Broomfield, Centennial, Dacono, Denver, Edgewater, Erie, Federal Heights, Frederick, Golden, Greenwood Village, Lafayette, Littleton, Lone Tree, Longmont, Louisville, Northglenn, Sheridan, Superior and Westminster.

15 lenders will serve the program and the compilation of their contact information is one of the few details left to work out prior to promoting the program.
